Collaboration with Lazarski University.
We are pleased to announce that Professor Jerzy Szaflik has signed a collaboration agreement with the renowned private Lazarski University.
The scope of this cooperation will include teaching ophthalmology to students of that institution’s newly created Faculty of Medicine.
Lectures and practical classes will take place on the premises of the Laser Eye Microsurgery Centre in Warsaw, conducted by our outstanding specialists.
The Lazarski University is the first non-public institution in Warsaw, and the second in Poland, to start teaching doctors.
What makes the medical studies at its Faculty of Medicine different is the individualised nature of the teaching process and its elite character.
Classes are taught in small groups, using the latest educational materials and technical solutions.
Having a small number of students restores the master-scholar relation which is fundamental to the acquisition and widening of a thorough knowledge and appropriate professional habits by future doctors.
Prof. Jerzy Szaflik is known in medical circles for his modern view of the relation between academic teachers and their students.
His pioneering medical achievements supported by the latest technology are complemented by the best possible conditions for treating patients.
Future ophthalmologists will thus, thanks to this collaboration, not only acquire broad professional horizons but also pick up the modern formula of patient relations.
