How to prepare for the visit?

No special preparation is necessary before visiting an ophthalmologist. It should be remembered, however, that most examinations are carried out with dilated pupils.
These examinations include, among others:
– first visit,
– eligibility test for laser correction,
– eligibility test for lens implant,
– a visit to a retina outpatient clinic.
This is why we advise against driving for a few hours after an examination.

We also recommend limiting your make-up before every appointment at the ophthalmologist’s

You have to remove make-up before certain diagnostic tests (USG, Confoscan, tests for demodex).
